Espresso Kentucky Coffee Tree

Expected Height/Spread: 50’-70’ tall, 40’-50’ wide

Known for their extra-large tropical-looking leaves that tend to be late to leaf-out and early to drop, the Espresso Kentucky coffee tree makes for beautiful shade during the summer heat and allows the sunlight to shine through during the colder months. As for fruit, you will not get any seed pods (yay for no mess!) because these are male trees. This tree loves full sun and is very tolerant of wind and the Wisconsin weather.  If you are looking for a low-maintenance, hardy tree and don’t mind the absence of flowers in the spring, this species would be a great choice.
